Third in the Louisdor Cup for Insa Hansen and Rebroff

Insa Hansen and Jamie White’s 10-year old Rhinelander gelding Rebroff (Robespierrot x Oula Owl xx) completed the podium at the 2019 Louisdor Cup Finals, the German Championships for Developing Grand Prix Horses. The combination were a late substitute for stable colleagues Nicole Wego and San Ravallo. Wego was pregnant at the time and on a break from riding, while San Ravallo had been sold.

Hansen and Rebroff filled their place and showed that they were more than up to the task. While they ranked only eleventh in the warm up test with 69.023%, their performance in the Grand Prix was light-footed and elegant, with highlights in the piaffe, passage and pirouettes. They deservedly finished in third place with a final score of 71.980%. Hansen was delighted with the 10-year-old gelding, who is showing great talent for the Grand Prix movements. The entire Hof Kasselmann team is extremely proud of Hansen, who has been with the stable for 36 years. It was a wonderful result to finish off a successful season for Hof Kasselmann riders and horses!
