XXXIX. P.S.I. Auktion ? The Americans Bringing Top Prices
(Ankum) From rural breeders to tworld elite and celebrities, everyone was there. Thousands of thrilled spectators filed into the packed auction hall and watched the highly anticipated collection. The hots Paul Schockemöhle and Ullrich Kasselmann succeeded once again in putting together a collection of one thriller after another. 50 one of a kind horses, of which each one is a unique diamond, were sold to clients from all around the world! Even though the preparation was flawless, Ulli Kasselmann, as host, breeder, and seller, always feels the pressure: “These days you never know where things are going, and how the buyers will react, we have however found that the name P.S.I. carries great weight worldwide.”
New members of the German Dressage Squad - Frederic Wandres and Duke of Britain
Starting with a win in the Louisdor Prize qualifier at Horses & Dreams in Hagen a.T.W. in 2017, then fifth place in the Louisdor Prize Final that year, a successful Nations Cup debut for Germany at Rotterdam in 2018 and most recently their first FEI World Cup start and win in Zakrzów, Poland — Frederic Wandres and the 11-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Hof Kasselmann have really made their mark in the dressage arena in the past two seasons.
Japanes Dressage Team Takes Home Team Gold
We would like to congratulate to the Japanese Dressage team on earning team gold at the Asian Games in the Prix St. Georg, and to all the athletes earning great results on P.S.I. Horses!
Zum Glück Price Highlight at the 38th P.S.I. Auction
(Ankum) The 38th P.S.I. Auction brought a total sum of 14.635.000 on December 3rd at the P.S.I. Sport and Auction Center in Ankum. “That was an exceptional auction” mentioned Ulli Kasselmann and Paul Schockemöhle added “Quality is honored”.
Equestrian Athletes Honored with the P.S.I. Awards
(Ankum) A bundle of women’s power was recognized on Saturday evening by Ullrich Kasselmann und Paul Schockemöhle with the P.S.I. Award at the See- und Sport Hotel in Ankum in conjunction with the 38th P.S.I. Auction. The Performance Sales International Award – a horse made of valuable Swarovski crystal – was given to individuals in three categories who have shown exceptional work in or around the equestrian sports.
A Unique and Historical Memento for a Good Cause
(Ankum) In 1970 the World Championships of dressage took place in Aachen Soers in conjunction with the CHIO Aachen horse show. Even then, Dr. Werner Willhelm, from Essen, Germany, secured himself a highly unique souvenir. This special item will get a new owner this year during the events of the 38th annual P.S.I. Auction, for the benefit of the charity “Reiten gegen den Hunger” (Riding Against Hunger).
